According to copyright law, intellectual property belongs to a creator the moment it's produced. The question remains: What if there is nothing intellectual about your property?
That is why I submit my work to the Library of Congress, where all the cool authors are published. Then I pee on the work to further mark my territory.
Sometimes, however, that isn't enough. A person tries to appropriate an idea, present it as his own, and boom! I have to send Bruno to break his collar bone.
No, Bruno is my attorney. He only kicks people's assets.
It's tempting to list a victory or two, but my grandpa taught me not to gloat. Drink all the scotch you can handle, but don't gloat. Suffice it to say that at much expense we have gotten our way.
Sometimes, though, I wish we could just break the guy's collar bone.
